In this lesson we’re going to practice the negative painting technique. I would like to invite you to have some fun and create your own composition based on reference photos (of course I will provide you a line drawing as always, so you will also have a composition ready to use). In the negative painting technique the first layer is always the most important, because it determins the whole color composition. Oftentimes the end result is far from we have expected (as it was in my painting), but that’s the beauty of unpredictability of watercolors. Enjoy! I hope you’ll enjoy this lesson.
