This tutorial is a good practice of softening technique. We will use wet on wet painting, even some negative painting, but on the petals we’ll have to use softening technique to create tonal transitions from dark to light. It’s a good project for all skill levels. More challenging for beginners (but feasible!) and simpler for more experienced artists, who would like to take a break and paint something easier. I’ve prepared outline drawings in a few different sizes. If you need a different size, please, let me know and I’ll prepare it for you.
